We are excited to announce that Videometer has been honored with the Team Herlev Business Award for 2025. This award is a testament to our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and community engagement within the city of Herlev.  

About Team Herlev 

Team Herlev is a local version of Team Denmark – a business and support organization behind the local elite sports community. It consists of a circle of Herlev companies that wish to support sports in the Herlev Municipality. In addition to supporting elite sports, Team Herlev gathers local businesses in a business club aimed at profiling the business community, developing a mutual network for members, and providing a forum for informal dialogue on current topics and local issues. 

Videometer’s Selection for the Team Herlev Business Award 

The Team Herlev Business Award is presented annually to local businesses that demonstrate initiatives in business and environmental practices. The award ceremony took place on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Herlev Medborgerhus, where we joined other recipients and community members to celebrate this achievement.  

Videometer was selected based on several key criteria: 

• Advanced and innovative technology, which has successfully created a thriving business with a healthy and growing economy. 

• Responsible and forward-thinking employee and environmental policies. 

• Financially sound and sustainable foundation. 

• Consistent development and growth over the years. 

• Innovative approach to developing new business areas. 

• Initiatives that benefit the local community. 

We are proud of the recognition for our impact, as the Videometer technology is utilized worldwide, showcasing the strength and reach of our spectral imaging solutions for quality control of seeds, grains, food, pharma and more.  

The event featured a lecture by Ulrik Larsen, former ice hockey player and coach, and current director of the 2025 Ice Hockey World Championship in Herning and was chaired by Herlev’s Mayor Marco Damgaard. During the ceremony, subsidies were awarded to local gymnastics clubs, highlighting the event’s strong focus on community support.
