What these terms cover
These terms apply when you use this website. They do not cover our web shop, our customer portal or our login service, which are separate systems on their own addresses.
Buying, renting or servicing a Videometer instrument is governed by the documents for that purchase, such as a quotation, an order confirmation or a service agreement, and not by these terms.
Using the website
You are welcome to read, print and share the pages of this website and to link to them. Please do not use the website for anything unlawful, try to disrupt it or get around its security, or try to reach parts of it that are not offered to you.
The information on the website
We describe our instruments, software and applications as accurately as we can. Our products are developed over time, so specifications and configurations can change, and a page may not yet show the latest. What we confirm to you in a quotation or an agreement is what counts.
Application examples and published results show what was measured in a particular study. Your own samples may give different results.
Copyright and trade marks
The text, pictures, films and documents on this website belong to Videometer A/S or are used under licence from their owners. Please do not republish them, or use them commercially, without our written permission.
The Videometer logo is a registered trade mark of Videometer A/S in the European Union. Please do not use Videometer's name, logo or product names in a way that suggests we are connected with you or endorse you. The names of other companies and products mentioned on this website may be trade marks of their owners.
Links to other websites
This website links to websites that we do not run. We link to them because we think they are useful, but we do not control them and are not responsible for what they contain.
What you send us
When you send us something through a form on this website, we handle it as our privacy statement describes. Sending it does not give us any right to publish what you wrote or your name, and you do not give up any of your rights by ticking the box on the form.
Our responsibility
We work to keep this website available and correct, but we cannot promise that it will always be available or free of errors. As far as Danish law allows, Videometer A/S is not liable for loss that results from using this website or from relying on its information. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms when the website changes. The version on this page is the one that applies. These terms were rewritten on 3 October 2026 for the new website; the version they replaced was written for the old WordPress site.
Updated 16 October 2026: they now say that the Videometer logo is a registered trade mark, and the request not to suggest a connection with us covers our product names too.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Danish law, and disputes about them or about this website are settled by the Danish courts. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection the mandatory law of the country where you live gives you.
