Videometer at IASIM 2022 – Conference on Spectral Imaging
Starting July 3rd up until July 6th 2022, Videometer will be present at the IASIM Conference on Spectral Imaging in Esbjerg, Denmark.
IASIM is a biannual conference which brings together many players from the spectral imaging community to discuss and contribute to the development of the industry. The conference includes three days of seminars, discussions and workshops held by keynote speakers and experts from the spectral imaging field.
This year, Videometer will be present as platinum sponsor. This means that we will be present in the exhibition area to showcase two of our flagship instruments: the VideometerLab and the VideometerLite. Our CEO, Jens Michael Carstensen, and our Computer Vision Engineer, Kristian Ryder Thomsen, will attend the event and be receiving visitors at the Videometer exhibition area.
Here, they will hold a workshop with the title: “Hands-on LED spectral imaging”, where they will demonstrate the capabilities of the VideometerLab technology and the multiple different applications we support. The workshop will be held on Sunday July 3rd from 14.00 to 15.20 in the Exhibition Area.
In addition to the workshop, on July 5th from 13.00 to 14.00, Videometer will also be holding the seminar “Spectral Imaging as a Transformer of the Food-Ag Industry”, based on the finding of a research conducted with the EU-funded DiTECT project on the detection of aflatoxin in maize kernels.
Besides the DiTECT project, we will also be presenting the development of the TraceMyFish project, a EU-funded project that focuses on the enhancement of safety and quality control within the seafood industry.
