Become a Videometer Expert
Welcome to Videometer Academy – a course series aimed at teaching you how to master your Videometer instruments and the VideometerLab software. You may have one or several imaging devices, from the portfolio of Videometer instruments, and you will use the same VideometerLab software for the instruments data acquisition and data analysis and processing.
Some of the training material will be dedicated to a specific Videometer instrument but most of the time the software functionality is universal and can be applied to your acquired data, independently of imaging device. You will see that images acquired by the VideometerLab instrument often are used as a case example, but it could as well be images captured by other instruments like Multiray, Lite, and SLS.
By purchasing a VideometerLab, you typically have included the Basic Training Modules with one of our experts, which will be run on Microsoft Teams. Once you receive your VideometerLab instrument you will, in agreement with Videometer, decide on time and dates for your four Basic Training Modules. It is possible to record the training session for later use and for training of new users of the VideometerLab.
A more detailed description of the content for the initial four Basic Training Modules is found below. Under each Training Module a brief overview of the content is given. Included are also small videos going through the listed content, showing how to operate and use the Videometer instrument and VideometerLab software. These can either be reviewed after the training modules or watched as a preparation prior to the training.
Before starting the first Training Module, read through the information and watch the videos under the Pre Training Module.
