This year we have been working on new experiences for our customers, which include the development of our product suite. Among the new designs is the VideometerLab500 - an instrument made for the analysis of products with large surface areas.

Furthermore, throughout 2024, we will be present at various events concerning seeds, grains, food and spectral imaging technologies, where you will have the chance to meet us and see our instruments in action.

VideometerLab500 Installation at Danespo

On February 1st, 2024, the new VideometerLab 500 was installed at the Danespo premises in Give, Denmark.

The system is based on the VideometerLab spectral imaging technology, measuring pixel values for up to 17 different wavelengths, from UV to NIR. Additionally, the instrument’s field-of-view, sized 500mmx250mm, allows for analysis of samples with a wider surface area compared to the VideometerLab. For example, you can use the system for analysis of whole fish and meat fillets, potatoes, beets, etc.

Furthermore, you can add a smart beamer, which projects colored lights on your products based on their classification. This allows you to perform fast and easy manual sorting of your goods based on their features.

Meet us at ANUGA FoodTec and at the ISF World Seed Congress 2024

For the third consecutive time, Videometer will be present at ANUGA FoodTec, one of the biggest food technology trade fairs in the world, from March 19th, 2024, to March 22nd.

This year, our CEO, Jens Michael Carstensen, our Software and Machine Learning Engineer, Christian Thyssen and our Mechatronics Engineer, Victor Haavik will be attending the event.

The three will be showcasing the VideometerLab instrument and product suit for food applications, in particular for food authenticity measurements. Meet us at ANUGA FoodTec, at booth A-108, in Koeln, Germany.

In May, instead, Videometer will present at the ISF World Seed Congress together with our partners from Rhino Research. The congress will be held in Rotterdam, the Netherlands from May 27th to the 29th.

Here, our CEO, Jens Michael Carstensen, will be presenting our spectral imaging solutions for the easy and automated analysis of seeds and grains. Join us at the two events and learn all about our instruments.

Videometer Webinar Series Spring 2024

For the third year in a row, we will be holding our webinar series for people interested in learning more about the VideometerLab Instrument and Software. The series is thought for those of you, who own an instrument and would like to learn more about the tools and functionalities present in the platform.
